Delhi councillor arrested over racist comment
A 50-year-old woman councillor was arrested here Thursday for making a racist comment a year ago, police said Thursday.
Kalpana Jha, councillor of Ward No. 187 in Sangam Vihar area of south Delhi, was arrested and booked under the SC/ST Act, police said.
She was arrested on a complaint by Janata Dal-United leader Seema Sharma.
