Delhi Education Minister Kiran Walia Thursday released a value education kit on gender sensitisation that would be part of school curricula in the national capital.
The kit consists of a booklet with stories, and 18 activity cards on gender sensitisation and awareness, meant for students in Class 1 to 12.
The kit has been developed by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, non-government organisations, and principals of various schools in the capital city.
A total of 52 teams worked on the value education kit, said an official of the Delhi government.
"The impact of globalisation and technological advancement has been such that our child is lost. Values are declining everyday and I hope that this kit would inculcate values among children," Walia said, while launching the kit.
