State tourism ministers will discuss issues of tourists' security and infrastructure development at a national conference beginning here Thursday, an official statement said.
The conference will be inaugurated by Minister of State for Tourism K. Chiranjeevi.
The participants will deliberate on issues related to safety and security of tourists, campaign for clean India, rationalisation of taxes, completion of infrastructure projects and timely issue of licences to hotels, the statement Wednesday said.
Issues like sharing of data and statistics, making destinations accessible for disabled tourists, sustainable tourism, constitution of regional promotional councils and single window clearances for film shootings are also on the agenda, it said.
