Delhi woman stabbed to death by brother-in-law

A 26-year-old woman was stabbed to death and her brother was injured by the woman's brother-in-law at her house here over a property dispute, police said Sunday.

The attack took place on Amna Khatoon and her younger brother Tanveer at their home in Kahajoori Khas area of east Delhi Saturday night.

Munna, in his early 20s, fled after stabbing them several times, police said.

Amna Khatoon and Tanveer were taken to a hospital where doctors declared the woman dead. Tanveer is recuperating.

Police said Munna was later arrested from his house.
