Two bodies, presumably of a married couple, were Sunday found on a railway track here, police said.

The bodies were found near the Hindon bridge near Sahibabad around 2 p.m. by a passer-by who informed police.

"Both the people were in their 30s. One body is of a male, while the other is of a female. They seem to be husband and wife. We are trying to identify them," said Superintendent of Police (City) Shiv Hari Meena.

The bodies were found about 50 metres apart.

Police suspect they may have been pushed from a moving train. The bodies have been sent for autopsy, he said.
