Turkish football club Besiktas have confirmed the transfer of their Senegalese striker Demba Ba to Chinese Super League team Shanghai Shenhua.
Ba will receive 13 million euros as transfer fee, reports Xinhua.
He played for English clubs West Ham, Newcastle United and Chelsea before joining the Istanbul side last year. The Senegalese international scored 27 goals in 44 matches for Besiktas this past season.
