The number of dengue cases in Odisha have risen to 2,325 with the state health department Sunday confirming 140 new cases in last three days.
"The number of dengue cases have increased to 2,325. About 140 of them reported in last three days and a majority of them are from coastal Jajpur and Balasore districts," a state health department official told IANS.
Both the districts reported about 40 cases each, he said.
The official also said deaths due to the mosquito-borne disease have increased to seven.
