The national capital experienced a cloudy and chilly Friday followed by a dense fog in the morning which led to 39 flights being delayed and 64 trains being cancelled. Fog is expected on Saturday morning too while the day is expected to be sunny and chilly.

The city witnessed maximum temperature at 15.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average, a sudden drop in the mercury compared to the previous day (Thursday), while the minimum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 9.6 degrees Celsius.
