'Desi Kattey' goes on floors Wednesday (Movie Snippets)

After crime comedy "Zila Ghaziabad" director Anand Kumar is set to start shooting for his next film "Desi Kattey" from Wednesday.

" 'Desi Kattey' shooting begins tomorrow (Wednesday) in Mumbai bless us! (sic)," Kumar posted on micro-blogging site Twitter Tuesday.

An action drama, the story is set in a small town near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. It revolves around the life of two children, who turn out to be great shooters due to their upbringing in a handmade pistol factory.

Teaming up with Mary Vernieu great for Shekhar Kapur

"Paani" director Shekhar Kapur feels privileged to be working with Hollywood casting director Mary Vernieu, who is one of the favourites of Bollywood directors.

"Great to be working with Mary Vernieu, Hollywood's legendary casting director on 'Paani'. Some of my favourite directors here won't do a film without her," Kapur posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Being made under the Yash Raj Films banner, the film will focus on a world where wars break out due to water scarcity. It will star Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead.
