Dhansikaa plays gangster in 'Kabali'

Actress Dhansikaa, who will be seen as superstar Rajinikanth's daughter in "Kabali", is said to be essaying the role of a gangster in the film, slated to hit the screens this summer.

"Dhansikaa plays a Thai-based gangster and has her own gang. She plays a brat of a daughter who has serious issues with her father," a source from the film's unit told IANS.

For her role, Dhansikaa has undergone drastic transformation.

"She sports a boy cut and plays a character that's very different from anything she has played so far in her career," he said.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film also stars Radhika Apte, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Ritwika.
