Actor Dharmesh Tiwari was cremated Thursday at the Pawan-Hans crematorium in Vile Parle here.
"His cremation took place at 3.30 p.m. at Pawan Hans," actor Raza Murad, a friend of the late actor, told IANS.
"Many people came to pay their last respects to Dharmesh at his residence where his body was kept," he added.
Tiwari, who played Kripacharya in epic TV show "Mahabharat", died Wednesday in Chandigarh, Punjab. He was 63.
He was also the general secretary of the Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) and president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).
Tiwari is survived by his wife and two daughters.
