'Dil Dhadakne Do' pooch to travel for promotions? (Movie Snippets)

The Mehras, the dysfunctional Punjabi family in Zoya Akhtar directorial "Dil Dhadakne Do", will be going on an extensive multi-city tour to promote the highly anticipated film, and if all goes as planned they will also be joined by Pluto, the dog who plays a pivotal role in the movie.

The family will be travelling across the country and visiting cities like Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.

According to a source, the film's makers are keen that Pluto Mehra too accompanies the Mehras on the city tours.

"Dil Dhadakne Do" is about this Punjabi family on a cruise across the Mediterranean, and how they discover love and friendship during their vacation.

The film, which stars Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah and Priyanka Chopra, will release on June 5.

Anupam Kher's health dilemmas

Too many doctor visits seem to be happening for veteran actor Anupam Kher, who paid a visit to a dentist and then shared a photograph of himself with his psychiatrist.

The 60-year-old actor took to photo-sharing website Instagram to share an image from the dentist's chamber on Friday.

"An Uncomfortable Chair for your teeth," Anupam captioned the image, alongside a photograph of a dentist's chair.

However, after sharing the update, the actor again shared another image of himself along with his psychiatrist, with whom he has a chat with "once in a while".

"A warm & healthy chat once in while with my psychiatrist docvishalsawant is such a soothing feeling. Thanks Doc. :)" Anupam tweeted.

'Laawaris' clocks 34, Big B happy

As Amitabh Bachchan-starrer "Laawaris" clocked 34 years since its release, the megastar went down memory lane.

"34 years of my film 'LAAWARIS'... how did so much time get past me... someday shall give great memories of that," Big B tweeted on Friday.

The 1981 drama movie, directed by Prakash Mehra, revolves around an illegitimate son's quest for love and respect which brings him in contact with his biological father.

"Lawaaris" also features Zeenat Aman, Amjad Khan, Suresh Oberoi, Bindu, Raakhee, Om Prakash, Ranjeet and Ram Sethi.

Preity Zinta missed crew of 'ABCD 2' on 'Nach Baliye 7'

Actress Preity Zinta, who is back for the shoot of the dance-based reality show "Nach Baliye 7", is unhappy that she couldn't meet the the starcast of Remo D'Souza's forthcoming film "ABCD 2".

She was busy as her grandmother was undergoing a surgery around the same time as the film's cast came on the set.

The "Veer-Zaara" actress took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share: "Back to #nachbaliye shoot. Kinda bummed that I missed the crew of ABCD2 on the shoot of the previous episode as my grandma had surgery."

"ABCD 2" features Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and choreographer-director Prabhudheva. It will release on June 5.
