Producer Dinesh Vijan says he will begin work on his directorial debut by the end of the year.

"Last year, I was very busy with my other projects, and a directorial project means a lot of hardwork, so I thought, 'Let me release all my films (production projectS) first, and then I will start with my direction'. I will start by the end of this year," Vijan told IANS.

Addressing reports that he's planning to direct a film starring Saif Ali Khan and Parineeti Chopra, he said: "There was a story we were developing, but it takes time. After the release of 'Badlapur', I'm taking one month off to figure out about my directorial debut."
