India's third seed Dipika Pallikal and No.7 Joshna Chinappa have entered the quarterfinals of the Women's Squash Association International 25 Granite Open event here.
Pallikal Tuesday defeated Tesni Evans of Wales 8-11, 11-8, 11-5, 11-7, while Chinnappa accounted for Nikki Todd of Canada 11-8, 11-8, 11-6.A
Currently ranked 13, Pallikal, playing for the first time in this event, took time to settle down, even losing the first game.
But she steadied herself thereafter to make it a comfortable win thereafter to set up a clash with fifth seed Jenny Duncalf from England.
It was lot more comfortable for Chinnappa, the 21-ranked player who however faces a stiff test in the last eight as she faces the second seeded Australian Rachael Grinham.
