Director quits 'Olympus Has Fallen' sequel

Creative differences have led director Fredrik Bond to step down from the sequel of the movie "Olympus Has Fallen".

The shooting for the sequel, titled "London Has Fallen", was scheduled to begin next month in England, reports variety.com.

Actors Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman are set to reprise their characters for the action film.

The action-thriller, which is slated for Oct 2, 2015 release, is being produced by Butler along with Alan Siegel, Mark Gill and Matt O'Toole.

"Olympus Has Fallen" performed respectably last year with $161 million in worldwide grosses.
