Discover insights on singers with 'Sureeli Baat'

Popular singers like Usha Uthup, Kailash Kher and Sunidhi Chauhan will share some of their most memorable moments from their personal and professional lives on a new show titled "Sureeli Baat".

The show, to be aired on Hindi news channel Aaj Tak on Staurday, will be hosted by Mala Sekhri. It is starting July 27 and Sukhwinder Singh, famed for numbers like "Chhaiya chhaiya" and "Jai ho", will be the first guest.

It is an attempt to connect the viewers with the musical geniuses of recent times. Some other names to feature on the show are Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh, KK, Jasbir Jassi and Amit Kumar, who will talk about their own musical inspirations, influences and they will also sing melodies that have been part of their journey.

The singers will also hum a few lines from their famous compositions.

"The show will uncover the interesting and fascinating stories and songs from the lives of these eminent singers and musicians," Mala Sekhri, chief operating officer (Lifestyle Magazines and Music Today), said in a statement.
