Divya Khosla Kumar to walk for Reynu Taandon at India Couture Week

Actress-filmmaker Divya Khosla Kumar is set to walk for designer Reynu Taandon at the FDCI India Couture Week 2016, starting from July 20.

The five-day fashion gala is slated to take place at the Taj Palace hotel here and Taandon will showcase on the third day of the event.

Remaining true to her roots, her upcoming collection 'Kamangari' is inspired from the beauty and grandeur of Rajasthan.

"Evoking a spirit of royalty in every seam and stitch,my collection is for the 'new-age' bride -- a girl that redefines the conventional bridal fashion with all that is modern along with an imperial twist," said the designer.

Every silhouette reflects Rajasthan's ethnic heritage ranging from meticulously handcrafted foil printing to usage of block prints on vibrant Chanderi fabrics. To put it differently, the cuts, colours, fabric and crafts of this collection recreate Rajasthan on a vivid palette.

For Reynu Taandon, the collection is all about redefining the traditional bride while taking a leap into the melange of colours.
