Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has already guaranteed to finish the season among the top eight players in the world, and thus has secured a place in the 2015 ATP World Tour Finals in London.
Thanks to his victory against Spain's Rafael Nadal in the French Open quarter-finals, the world No.1 Serb collected enough points to ensure his spot in the of 2015 World Tour Finals, to be held from November 15-22, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) said on Thursday, reports Efe.
Djokovic, 28, has won the tournament in London four times in his career, in 2008, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The Serb will play the French Open semi-finals on Friday against Scotland's Andy Murray to try to reach the final for the second consecutive year, and try to take the title for the first time.
The French Open title is the only Grand Slam eluding Djokovic, despite reaching the final in Paris twice before, in 2012 and 2014, both of which he lost to Nadal.
