BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Saturday urged young voters in Assam to take part not only in voting but also as canvassers for the right candidate.
"I am concerned about those in the age group of 18 to 28 years. This is the golden period for any individual. All major decisions are taken in this period regarding education, family etc. If one day of the youth is wasted, he or she has to repent it," Modi said at a rally at Borghat in Assam's Nagaon district.
"If one bad decision is taken in youth, they suffer for their whole life. It is the right time to choose a career and for that, it is important to choose a right government in Delhi. If a bad government comes, what will happen to their future?" he said.
"I appeal to the youth to not just become a voter, but become a canvasser and canvass for the right party, who the people should choose," he said.
