With the arrival of 2015, actor Varun Dhawan has stressed attainment of gender equality and has urged his fans to respect women.
The son of director David Dhawan took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his views.
"In 2015 if you follow me or even like me a little promise to not objectify women and disrespect them treat them as people," he tweeted Thursday.
The actor welcomed 2015 in Las Vegas and wrote: "2015 is here the future is about to be cracked open #vegas" along with a photograph.
After debuting with "Student Of The Year", the actor has found a special place in the tinsel town.
This year, Varun has mixed movies like "Badlapur" and "ABCD 2" in his kitty.
