Actress Donal Bisht wore her mother's 'kangan' (bangle) for a wedding sequence of her show "Ek Deewaana Tha".

In the Sony Entertainment Television show, Sharanya (Donal) is excited about her upcoming marriage to Vyom (Vikram Singh Chauhan).

"When I got to know about the wedding sequence, the first thing that came to my mind was the kind of jewellery I would like to wear to make my character stand out as a bride," Donal said in a statement.

And so, she reached out to her mother who gave her a 'Kangan' which she wore during the sequence.

"I went to my mother for a solution as I remember my mother showing to me one of her gold 'kangans' that she wore during her wedding. The 'kangan' looks so elegant. I am glad that my mother helped me out," added the actress, who now feels that mothers are daughters' best friends.
