Donning a tracksuit, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar participated in state-level events here to mark the inaugural International Yoga Day on Sunday, with over 20,000 people performing yoga asanas.
The participants comprised government functionaries, students and locals.
Yoga guru Ramdev's close aide Bal Krishan was among the prominent personalities in Karnal, Khattar's assembly constituency.
Khattar follows his daily passion for yoga which he says helps him to keep calm and balance.
"Yoga is a great teacher. It helps keeping one's body, mind and soul in perfect sync," Khattar had earlier told IANS.
