A drunk British man Saturday created a ruckus at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here when he broke a fire alarm box, police said Saturday.
The 45-year-old man, identified only as Daniel, arrived at Terminal 3 from London and was in an inebriated condition, police said. He had a connecting fight to Tokyo, Japan.
"The incident happened around 4.30 a.m., when a British national named Daniel broke a fire alarm box at the food court situated at T3," a police officer said.
Later, he was taken to a hospital for first aid, the officer said, adding that he will board his scheduled flight to Tokyo Saturday evening.
