Dubai, July 15 (IANS/WAM) The inflation rate of Dubai has risen to 1.75 per cent in the first half of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015, according to a Dubai Statistics Centre report.
The report shows the inflation was due to an increase by 5.79 per cent in the cost of education group, which represents 4.09 per cent of total relative importance in the basket.
The housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels group levelled up by 3.91 per cent. This group is considered as the highest group in term of relative importance in the consumer basket by 43.70 per cent.
