Dubai, June 5 (IANS/WAM) Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of a six-month training programme "Empowerment with RTA" to help Emirati graduates seeking jobs.
"The programme reflects RTA's keenness to support the UAE President's 'Year of Giving' initiative," said Yousef Al Rida, Chief Executive Officer of RTA's Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector.
Since the launch of the initiative last April, 20 graduates have joined the course and the inductees receive a nominal monthly salary.
"It will offer training to familiarise graduates with the work environment, with a focus on innovation and strategic thinking. Trainees will learn about research, interview skills, job application, work ethics and time management," Al Rida said.
