Singer Ed Sheeran has reached a milestone with her second album "X" - it has sold more than 182,000 copies in the last seven days - to make it the fastest-selling album of 2014.
The 23 year-old entered the British charts on Sunday at No.1 with his 12-track album, reports contactmusic.com.
"X", which was released June 20, clearly beat Coldplay's hugely successful album "Ghost Stories" opening week score in May by 14,000 copies, the Official Chart Company reports.
"The A-Team" singer, who is currently performing at the Glastonbury Festival, took to Twitter to thank his 9.74 million followers for their support.
"182k sold in the UK week one making it the fastest selling album of the year," he tweeted. "I'm on cloud 9 and keep laughing at everything. Love you all," he wrote.
