Actor Eddie Redmayne has topped GQ's best-dressed men list.

The "The Theory of Everything" star took the number one spot in the annual rankings ahead of fellow actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Jamie Dornan, who came in second and third place respectively.

The third-in-line to the British throne Prince George, made his debut in the list at number 49, while his grandfather, Prince Charles came in seventh place, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The magazine said of the 18-month-old royal: "Already following in the footsteps of his great-great-great-uncle, Edward VIII, and his grandfather, the Prince of Wales, Prince George looks set to become the UK's best-dressed man."

George isn't the only youngster to appear in the list.

David Beckham's 12-year-old son, Romeo, who starred in a campaign for luxury label Burberry this year, beat the former footballer to take 25th place, while Beckham, 39, landed the 46th spot.

Another surprise entry was England footballer Wayne Rooney, who was named in 26th place, while "X Factor;" presenter Dermot O'Leary came 13th, singer David Bowie came in at number 15 and former "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith came 23rd.

The full GQ Best-Dressed Men List will be published in the February issue of the magazine which will hit shelves Thursday.
