Eid-ul-Fitr, which concludes the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, will be celebrated Saturday, the Naib Imam of the 17th-century Fatehpuri mosque announced here.

"The moon was seen in various places in Assam, Bihar, and Odisha today (Friday). So, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday)," Maulana Mufti Mohammed Mukarram told IANS.

He said the moon was not seen in Delhi because of clouds.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday greeted people on the eve of the festival.

"Eid Mubarak," Kejriwal tweeted.
