Eight killed in China factory blaze

As many as eight people were killed while five left with injuries in a factory fire Friday in China's Zhejiang province, authorities said.

The fire occurred early morning in a plastic factory in Dushan Township of Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing City, reported Xinhua citing local authorities.

It took about two hours to douse the flames. Seven people were found dead on the spot while another died after receiving hospital treatment

The cause behind the fire was being ascertained.
