Eight killed in China highway pile-up

At least eight people were killed and six injured in a 19-car pile up on a highway in China's Sichuan province Sunday, police said.

The incident occurred in the afternoon when a sedan overturned and caused traffic snarl on the highway. But a heavy truck suddenly dashed into vehicles queuing in front which led to the pile-up of so many vehicles, Xinhua reported.
