A 62-year-old woman and her 40-year-old handicapped son were found murdered in their home here Friday, police said.
A neighbour found the bodies of Usha Mishra and her son Jitendra in a pool of blood in two separate rooms of their home in Delhi's Rohini area, a police officer said.
The neighbour informed the police.
"It seemed a friendly entry into the house. But the house was found ransacked," the police officer added.
Police did not rule out the possibility of personal enmity, but also suspected a property angle behind the attack.
Mishra and her son lived in the house, while her four daughters are married. Her husband passed away several years ago. Jitendra's wife also died a few months back due to some illness.
Police said they had rented out another house, located in the same area.
