Project Veeva, run by Eli Lilly and Company India, has bagged the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI) Sales Force Excellence Award 2013.
The award recognises best practices established by the company to better the experience of customers.
Project Veeva is part of an effort by the company to make its 300-strong sales team self-reliant through relevant modules, a spokesperson said, offering greater customer interaction possibilities and leveraging multimedia.
The OPPI instituted the awards last year to promote excellence in pharmaceutical sales.
Lilly India Managing Director Edgard Olaizola said that the company's mission is to establish the best practices for functional excellence and customer delight.
Headquartered in Indiana, United States, Eli Lilly and Company is an innovation-driven corporation with a portfolio of pharmaceutical products.
