Ericsson India announced on Friday that its net sales grew by 85 percent in the second quarter of 2015 compared to 29 percent growth in the same period the year ago.
Mobile broadband investments drove the sales mainly propelled by growth in mobile data traffic, Ericsson India said in a statement.
Sales growth in India and global services sales continued to show strong development while mobile broadband deployments in India contributed positively to the sales growth, it added.
Ericsson's India headcount rose from 18,495 in June 2014 to 21,353 by June 2015, it said.
