Eurocopter, Ramco Systems ink deal for chopper maintenance software

City-based enterprise solution provider Ramco Systems Ltd Wednesday announced the signing of a deal with the Franco-German-Spanish Eurocopter Group to provide maintenance software for helicopter operators.

In a statement issued here, Ramco Systems said both the companies will join forces to offer helicopter maintenance software for operators and maintenance centres.

This agreement enables Eurocopter and Ramco Systems to offer additional mobility and functionality for the collection and treatment of maintenance, repairs and overhaul (MRO) related data, thereby providing effective and cost-efficient fleet management services for all operators - including those with smaller numbers of helicopters.

"Ramco's cloud-based maintenance software solution is an outstanding addition to our service offering," Matthieu Louvot, senior vice president of support and services at Eurocopter, was quoted as saying in the statement.

"The strength and capability of our aviation solution gets a global endorsement with Eurocopter, the number one civil and para-public helicopter manufacturer, choosing Ramco," P.R. Venketrama Raja, vice chairman and managing director at Ramco Systems was quoted as saying in the statement.
