Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that even the Opposition admits that work is going on at a fast pace in Delhi "despite obstacles posed by them".
Kejriwal's statement came in response to Leader of Opposition (LoP) Vijender Gupta's tweet which alleged that the Kejriwal-led Delhi government did nothing in the last 20 months but is now in a hurry to show that it is working.
"Kejriwal did no work despite being in power for the last 20 months. And now there is drama going on to show urgency in doing work. 'Lekin ab pachtay kya hot, jab chidiya chug gayi khet' (no use crying over spilt milk)," Gupta tweeted.
In response, Kejriwal tweeted: "I am happy that even LoP admits that work is going on at a fast pace in Delhi despite all the obstacles posed by them (the Opposition)."
