English football club Everton on Thursday announced that defender Bryan Oviedo will be sidelined for around "two to three weeks" due to a hamstring injury he sustained last Sunday against Sunderland.
Everton coach Roberto Martinez confirmed at a press conference ahead of Saturday's clash against West Ham in the English Premier League (EPL), that the Costa Rica international's injury is not serious, reports Efe.
"Bryan Oviedo picked up a hamstring problem that may keep him out of action for two to three weeks, but it's nothing too serious," Martinez said.
"We hope that he can come back for the Aston Villa game (on November 21), if not, the Bournemouth game (November 28)," he explained.
