A court here Friday fixed May 16 for recording the statements of defence witnesses in a robbery case against Dec 16, 2012 gang rape convicts.
Additional Sessions Judge Daya Prakash fixed it for May 16 as the witness did not turn up for the deposition. Earlier the court was scheduled to commence the recording of statements of defence witnesses Friday.
Mukesh, Pawan Gupta Vinay Sharma and Akshay Thakur are facing trial for allegedly beating up and robbing carpenter Ram Adhar, before raping and assaulting a 23-year-old girl in a bus here.
The four have been sentenced to death in the Dec 16 gang rape case.
