Ex-legislator shot at in Gurgaon

A former legislator from Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur was Friday shot at and robbed here, police said.

The former legislator, Ramchander Morya, was shot in his leg. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition is stable.

The incident occurred in Sector 29. The assailant robbed Morya of Rs.35,000 and a gold chain after shooting him, police said. A case of attempt to murder has been registered.
