Explosion near Russian embassy in Kabul
A heavy explosion was heard on Wednesday near the Russian embassy in Kabul capital city of Afghanistan.
Preliminary reports indicate a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (IED) was detonated in the vicinity of Dar-ul-Aman area close to the embassy compound, Khaama Press reported.
The type of the explosion, for which no group has claimed responsibility, was yet to be ascertained.
