Farhan, 'Dil Dhadakne Do' team, to meet Milkha Singh (Movie Snippets)

Farhan Akhtar was applauded by one and all for his onscreen portrayal of former Olympian Milkha Singh in "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag". Now, when he is heading to Chandigarh to meet the athlete with the cast of "Dil Dhadakne Do", he says it feels like he is going "home".

The actor, who shares a special camaraderie with Milkha Singh, took to micro-blogging Twitter to share: "Meeting Milkha-Ji & family with the DDD family this weekend in Chandigarh.. Feels like I'm taking them home. @JeevMilkhaSingh @SoniaMilkha."

Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do" revolves around relationships. It narrates a story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family and how they discover love and friendship during a cruise across the Mediterranean.

Also starring Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Shefali Shah and Anushka Sharma, the film is slated to release on June 5.

Saif, Kareena off to Maldives for family vacation

It's holiday time for Bollywood couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The couple is off to explore the pristine beauty of Maldives amid greenery and idyllic beaches with family.

Saif's sister Soha, who is accompanying them with her husband and actor Kunal Kemmu, shared a photograph of their jaunt with a caption "Touchdown in the Maldives!".

In the image, the family seems all geared up to make the most of the vacation. Kareena even pouts for the camera, while Saif's son Ibrahim is also seen smiling away.

They are on five-day vacation as Soha had earlier shared on Twitter with a post that read: "And we re off on a five day holiday to the Maldives - thunderstorms predicted but praying for some spells of sunshine."

Dubai takes Anil Kapoor's heart away

Actor Anil Kapoor is smitten by the culture in the Middle East. The actor, who is in Dubai for an award show, says the place has a "piece of his heart".

"#Dubai! You'll always have a piece of my heart. Judging by the frequency of my visits, u may have to adopt me soon," Anil tweeted.

The father of actress Sonam Kapoor is awaiting release of his next film, Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do", which narrates tale of a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a Mediterranean cruise.

The actor will be seen in the role of a patriarch of the family and has garnered rave response for his salt and pepper hairstyle in the film.

Also starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Shefali Shah, Farhan Akhtar and Anushka Sharma, "Dil Dhadakne Do" will release on June 5.
