Getting an ideal cast is every director's wish and Jon Favreau fulfilled his by roping in Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson for "Chef".
He says he wrote the respective parts for Vergara and Johansson, respectively.
The filmmaker, who himself stars as chef Carl Casper in "Chef", believes the actresses' presence make him look like a good chef, who not just makes great food, but attracts gorgeous women too.
"Chefs right now are like rockstars, and I was figuring if the food must be really good, then I think I could get away with a certain amount of beauty around me, because Carl is a great chef," Favreau, the actor, writer and director of "Chef", said in a statement.
The movie, which had a limited release in the US, releases in India June 13.
