Spanish tennis player David Ferrer claimed his second Swedish Open title with a straight-set victory over Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov on Sunday.

The 35-year-old Spaniard, who now has 27 ATP career titles, defeated Dolgopolov 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 25 minutes, reports Efe.

This is Ferrer's first ATP World Tour final since he was crowned champion at the Vienna Open in October 2015.

Ferrer, who won his first Swedish Open title in 2012, defeated Dolgopolov for the 10th time out of the 15 matches the two have played against each other.
