Police Friday blamed a fight over a basketball game for a deadly shooting in the US city of Houston.
The shooting happened Thursday night in northwest Houston, Xinhua reported.
Two groups of men were playing basketball at a park. After the game, the losers followed the winners for a few blocks and a fight started.
Police said during the fight someone pulled out a gun and started shooting. One man was hit. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the victim has not been released.
No suspect has so far been detained. Police are talking with witnesses to track down the shooter.
