A warehouse here, belonging to shopping website Jabong.com, has been gutted in a fire, police said on Tuesday.
The fire that broke out around 10 p.m. on Monday "almost completely destroyed the warehouse near Jamalpur here on Pataudi road", Gurgaon chief fire officer I.S. Kashyap told IANS.
The Jabong warehouses are spread over an area of some three acres and the fire fighters were successful in preventing the blaze from spreading to other warehouses, the official said.
Over two dozen fire tenders, including from private operators and the Indian Air Force, were pressed into service to douse the blaze.
Fire tenders were also called from the nearby districts of Rewari and Jhajjar.
The official said no one was injured or killed in the incident. The cause of the blaze was being investigated.
