Fire in Tata Nano premises, no one injured

A fire broke out at the Tata Nano plant near here on Thursday, officials said. No one was injured.

The flames engulfed a major part of the Vendors' Park at the plant at Sanand, 35 km away, with clouds of smoke billowing from the premises.

Four fire tenders took over two hours to douse the blaze. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
