A Bengaluru based cab company has launched an incentive scheme for its drivers to promote cleanliness in their vehicles in keeping with the spirit of Swachh Bharat Diwas (Clean India Day) on October 2.
The company, Ola, has come up with a campaign to recognise and reward drivers on its platform who receive consistent positive feedback from customers on in-cab cleanliness.
To help all drivers continue to maintain clean cabs, the company is handing out car kits and enabling them free car cleaning at its partner relationship centres across Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.
"We join the country in promoting the message of cleanliness on this august occasion and we are confident that drivers and customers will participate in this ongoing programme by doing their bit," Pranay Jivrajka, chief operating officer at Ola, said in a statement.
