Five gunned down in Pakistan

Five people, including two brothers, were gunned down by unidentified assailants in Pakistan Thursday, media reported.

The incident occurred at Kot Momin area in Sargodha of Punjab province when they were on their way to attend a court hearing, Geo News reported.

The assailants fled after killing the five people.

The victims were facing charges of murdering two members of a rival clan.

Police said the incident was the fallout of an old enmity. The victims and the attackers belonged to Gondal clan.

The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
