Five men were detained for impersonating as Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination candidates for recruitment in paramilitary forces in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior city, an official said.
The impersonators had charged Rs.50,000 each from the candidates to appear on their behalf in the SSC exams held on Sunday.
The SSC conducted the exams for jobs in paramilitary forces on Sunday and some of the examination centres were in Gwalior. The impersonators were nabbed after the admit-card photo of one of the candidates supposed to appear in the exam did not match with the person actually taking the exam. He later revealed about his four other accomplices, said Additional Police Commissioner Dinesh Kaushal.
