A five-year-old rape victim was Friday discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here after 23 days of treatment.
"She was discharged today (Friday). She is passing urine normally and is on semi-solid diet," said AIIMS spokesman Y.K. Gupta.
Further surgery on her will be planned after two-three months, Gupta said.
The girl, who was brutally raped, was admitted to AIIMS on April 19 after being shifted from Swami Dayanand hospital in east Delhi.
The minor was abducted and confined for two days without food and water in the room in which her abductor lived on the ground floor of a building in Gandhi Nagar area of east Delhi. The girl's family, who stayed in the same building, rescued her after hearing her screams.
