Four people travelling in an auto-rickshaw suffered injuries after a speeding car hit their vehicle from behind near the Prime Minister's house here early Friday morning, police said.
The incident took place around 4 a.m. barely a few metres away from the 7, Race Course Road official residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"The injured were rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and discharged after being given first aid," said a police officer.
The incident occurred when a Honda City car hit the three-wheeler while overtaking a dumper truck.
"While the auto-rickshaw bore the brunt of the collision, the car was slightly damaged. A case was registered against the errant driver," said the officer.
